The CADEts  BRIefing the service learning brief have been identified.

everyone has a part in the COntinuous improvement brief:

Continuous Improvement Brief:
BN: Set overall goals for battalion and provide  short & long term guidance for CIB
XO: Oversee staff & a day to day activities. Responsible for short & long term execution of CIB goals
CSM: Ensuring correct uniform wear for cadets. In CIB Ensure that cadets present Grady Properly effectively
S-1: Keeping JUMS updated for cadets & their service hours. In CIB, Keeping track of new service opportunities  provided during the CIB
S-2: Maintain security & provide info for events. In CIB gathers info on an specific  service opportunities
S-3: Tasking coordinating staff with action items. In CIB, Constructing PowerPoint and tasking.
S-4: Maintaining supplies and getting transportation. Ensuring people have necessary   materials for CIB 
S-5: Public relations & keeping cadets updated. In CIB, Keep a service log and keeping cadets informed about service opportunities

MInutes from last meeting:

Expanding JROTC involvement in the grady community.

Minutes from last meeting:

Objectives:
Increase service opportunity.
Assist growth in other schools programs by providing reliable individuals
Action Items:
-Assess need for volunteers in school organization.
-Assess current individual participation of JROTC cadets outside of JROTC
-Establish points of contacts for every club at Grady within JROTC
-Collect Records of current student population for all clubs at Grady
Long Term 
-Keep Contact w/ Clubs
-Relay service opportunity from clubs to JROTC Cadets constantly
-Measure increase in service hours available after action.

we met our goal to teach everyone how to work slack.

The deadline to create the Google forms club information  for Teachers and for students

Jordan will collect the data for the club information google form

next staff meeting we will establish our points of contacts and the s-2 and CSM will really get involved.Our goal is to get more cadets more involved in things outside of JROTC. our points of contact will represent jrotc.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

​WE ARE GOING TO USE SLACK A LOT MORE. SO WE WILL USE IT FOR EVERYTHING.

WE DIDN'T MEET THE DEADLINE FOR THE BRIEF.THE brief was changed which was a major cause to miss the deadline.

for our brief we need to talk about our smart goal.

we ARE GOING TO CHANGE PACE OF THE BRIEF!

BASELINE FOR THE NEW BRIEF:

  Our baseline is on community service whats available and how we could increase that and how we increased the community service.
  Measure increase in service hours available after action.
  Essentially having 3 numbers.
  • Community service hours then
  • Community service hours now (JPA)
  • Community service hours later

we will basically be expanding cadet skills outside of Grady.

what we need:

  • ​To know what the cadets are doing outside of JROTC
  • To map our goal
  • To know what parts we are briefing and what we as cadet officers are doing
  • A Google form to send out and see what information we can gather on the clubs and see what the clubs of Grady need
  • To look at the number of cadets that are involve in other organizations
  • To identify the points of contacts for every JROTC battalion
  • To make sure we keep in contact with all clubs we help.

The highest points on the rubric are our standard. we will use the rubric as our guide for the brief and if the brief doesn't meet the highest points we will make it meet those points. 

anthony will make the google form for the teachers.
taliyah will do the google forms for the cadets.

we want to effectively transition to slack and make it more personal and not just get messages you dont need.

jpa:

Be more specific with JPA regarding how you know we improved.

the service learning brief is on Ja.

we can use the old ja brief just revamp it and make sure it up to date.

the continuous improvement brief is on improving the overall function of the jrotc program.

the brief is what counts and we need to make sure it makes sense.

NEW IDEA!

 How other clubs/ things  benefit or relate to jrotc and  Grady high school community.  

Things we noticed:

  • JROTC can connect with the community more.
  • We have almost every cadets in other clubs

new focus:

we are looking at how to get jrotc cadets more experience for scholarships and etc.

think about how we help the and how they help us and how it improves the overall jrotc function and the skills we expand.

NOTE: Everything needs to be finished by the 30th no additional detail submissions of the brief allowed.
Everyone will have access to the PowerPoint for their presentation. The brief will be done on Google Slides.

Goal is to not read the PowerPoint and to brief without the slide
